so, this is a tattoo idea that i designed. it was a b&w stock image, but i went into photoshop and colored and altered it to my liking.
it’s a snowdrop, which is the january birth flower. because they grow immediately after winter, they signify hope and new beginnings. but because they are close to the ground they can also signify death. which is not a bad thing, it’s a cyclical thing. the end of one thing, and the rebirth of another.
i was going to place it on my forearm to cover up an old self inflicted scar- you see what i did there?
to represent the death of that phase in my life, and the hope / new beginning that i am moving towards.
and also because i’m a january baby.
